Donation Refund Policy
Last Updated: October 1, 2025
Stablish Giving Fund ("we," "our," or "us") is a 501(c)(3) public charity. All donations are treated as voluntary, unconditional gifts made to Stablish Giving Fund.
Donors will receive a tax receipt at the time of donation. Please note:
If a donation is refunded, the donor may not be eligible to claim a tax deduction for that refunded gift.
1. General Policy on Refunds
Stablish Giving Fund grants donations to charities in accordance with our Donation Delivery Policy.
Once funds have been granted to a charity, we cannot issue a refund.
If you wish to seek a refund after funds have already been granted, you must contact the benefiting charity directly.
2. Refunds at Our Discretion
Refunds may be granted only in exceptional circumstances and only if funds have not yet been granted to a charity.
Examples include:
- The donation was made in error (e.g., duplicate transaction, incorrect amount).
- The donation was not authorized by the donor.
- The donor's circumstances changed materially (e.g., proceeds from a cancelled/refunded eBay sale).
All refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Stablish Giving Fund.
3. Reassignment of Donations (Before Granting)
If a donor indicates that their donation was directed to the wrong charity, and the funds have not yet been granted, the donor may request reassignment.
To request reassignment or a refund (if eligible):
Contact our Customer Service Team at support@stablishgivingfund.org.
4. Important Notes
- •Refunds are rare and not guaranteed.
- •Refunds are only possible before funds have been granted to a charity.
- •Donors remain responsible for ensuring accuracy when making donations.
